Personal Statement
My goal in college is to simply be the best I can be. In high school, I started my freshman year around 20th to 30th placement on the team. My goal was to eventually be the best. I knew this was a difficult challenge and I dedicated a good amount of time to improving myself in every aspect of running. And, by the end of junior year, I was the best on the team. I was extremely happy with my improvement but my aspiration didn’t stop there. Once I was the best, I still had the ambition to get faster. I still wasn’t satisfied. Thus, I improved even more in my senior year. I am never happy with being where I am. I always have to get better and go past my limits. That willpower is what I will bring to the college I attend.
