Running is more than just a sport or hobby to me, it's become much more in the way of a life style. I look to have it help carry me to compete as a collegiate athlete and maybe one day as a professional. However picking the right school and receiving a degree in a major that I can take into a career is very important. I am very dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. Running competitively has helped with the growth of my confidence and leadership skills, I like being in the position where there is pressure to preform well. This came when my sophomore year I emerged as the leader for my High School's cross country team, leading them to the first division win in ten years, as well as a top ten 3 finish in Group 2 States. Also I was the first qualifier in 10 years from Manasquan High School for 2015 Cross Country Meet of Champions in New Jersey. This not only helps myself strive for more accomplishments but also adds more drive and motivation to preform at the highest level. Being apart of a team is also a huge aspect I enjoy of running having others that have your back no matter what creates an atmosphere where everyone wants to better themselves, thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
