On paper I may not be the fastest runner on the track but in my mind I am. Being that I have 3.4 GPA I carry my knowledge from the classroom to the track. At this point in the response most people will give you the cliche breakdown about how dedicated they are or even how fast they can run. I chose to shy away from that for a moment. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my determination to succeed. I'm a team player so i'll do anything I can to benefit the team. My season best as of last year consist of 2:04 for the 800m dash, and 5:04 for the 1600m run. I also ran split of 2:03 at the Passaic County Outdoor Track championships help my 4x800 team place 3rd overall. My collegiate aspirations is to become NCAA Track and Field rookie of year and from the there I will become illustrated and distinguished.
