My name is Devin Oyola. I am 17 years old. My goal in life overall is just to be the best I can be in everything and anything I do. In track my goal is to compete with the best and beat the best. The competition makes me strive to become better as a runner and as a person. I can learn to deal with defeat, and be gracious in victory. To embrace victory you must first lose; it is in losing where you learn to win.
I am a hard worker, dedicated runner, and an inspiration to my teammates regardless of the situation. My character sets me apart from others through leadership. This translates to my commitment for my teammates. My teammates and coaches believe in me, which further pushes me to work and run harder in the classroom and on the track.
