Personal Statement
My college goals are to become a great student/athlete and excel in the classroom and develop as a collegiate runner in multiple events and improve each season and become one of the elite athletes in the world in my designated events through hard work, dedication and determination each and every day while being an upstanding citizen in the university, community and amongst all people I come in to contact with. I want to make sure everyone who comes in contact with me on a personal level, social level, athletically on and off the track and in the classroom comes away with a positive and inspirational feeling through their interaction with me. I will succeed and I will make others around me become just as successful. I will be the hardest worker on the team that never makes excuses and the one that coaches reference as the hardest working teammate on the team, that never gives in no matter what adversity presents. Character, athletics and academics will be held to the highest standard and never compromised. Austin
