Personal Statement
As a freshman i ran a 18:44 for the 5k and i remember it was something that i wanted to improve in a lot. When sophomore year came i devoted a lot of time to running and trained every single day. At the end of the season i broke 18 minutes and ran a 17:52. This year i went to a running camp and bumped up my milage and I'm also putting a lot more commitment towards running. This year im beginning my junior year in high school and my goal is to break 17 minutes in the 5k. I am looking forward in trying to achieve this goal, and i do believe my goal is possible.
