Daniel DeMauro '15 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to become a successful individual and run for a team where I can be a contributor.  My goal is to work to my potential both academically as well as in the sports that I love ...track and cross country . I have a passion for running and  began running at the modified level and joined the varsity team as a freshman.  I continue to run and weight train on a daily basis in hopes of getting a chance to run in college.  Having suffered a stress fracture along with battling health issues during my junior year ( 2013-2014)  my performances and times do not truly reflect the runner that I have the capacity  of becoming. Although, I am not at the caliber of where i want to be at this point I have put last season behind me and continue to work diligently in hopes of attaining the goals I set for myself.  With that said, I entered my senior season with a mind set of hard work and great improvements.  My only  aspiration is to work hard and to be recognized for my successes.  My ultimate goal is to attend a college where I can receive an excellent education and also continue to run and be a part of a team. Academically, I would like to major in biology or pre-med and pursue a career in dentistry.
