Personal Statement
My name is Noah Cook. I am a junior at Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Ohio. I am a 6' 2" 170lbs 100 and 200 meter sprinter. I've lettered both my freshman, sophomore and junior year in track, I have been a 100 and 200 meter league champion (Northern Lakes Leagues) along with being a Regional qualifier, State qualifier and a State finalist (Ohsaa Div.1) in the 100 as a 15 year old sophomore. I run club track for the Toledo Titans, coached by Dorian Hooker. This past summer (2015) I participated in the Junior Olympics in Norfolk, VA, where I placed 15th overall. As a junior I competed in the 2016 OHSAA State Track meet. I placed 7th in the 100 meter dash and 4th in the 200 meter dash. Being named All-Ohio twice .
I maintain a 3.78 GPA and volunteer locally at the Wood County Hospital. I also basketball at the high school. I've been training everyday in order to get bigger, faster and stronger. I intend to make myself an even better athlete. My goals are to be a State Champion in the 100 and 200 meter sprints and to become a college athlete. I fully understand what it takes to be a Student/Athlete and how much work I must put into to excel in the classroom and on the track. I believe that with my faith, family, coaches, and all my dedication I can achieve my goals.
