Personal Statement

Ever since I started running in 7th grade, running in college has always been one of my biggest goals. As I have continued to improve my times over the last few years, running in college has become more and more realistic for me. 

I feel like I would be a good fit for a collegiate team because I am extremely hard working not just on the track, but in the classroom as well. I have worked very hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my entire high school academic career and rank very high among my classmates academically. I am always willing to go above and beyond to achieve my goals and complete any task that is presented to me. 

Character wise, I am a very easy person to get along with. I have always been very good at making friends and I'm very coachable. The way I see it, there is no I in team and team success always comes before individual success. I also do my best to try to make my teammates better while trying to make myself better to improve the overall success of the team.
