I am a 16 year old who attends Toledo Christian High School (Toledo, Ohio) in the graduating class of 2017. I currently run track in the winter and spring and play varsity football in the fall. I am currently about 6 feet tall and weigh 155 pounds. I spend every off-season working hard in the weight room and preparing for the upcoming sports season. I love the sport of track and field because I am always pushed to compete to the best of my abilities and I always work my best when doing everything I can do to drop my times. I am very competitive and love to race because I always run to win my races. If I don't win, then I do everything I can to make sure I win the next time I face my opponent. I would love to be a runner while in college and have a chance to compete while earning my degree at the same time.
Academically, I have been on my school's honor roll for all three years of high school and I maintain a 3.33 GPA while attending every possible honors course that the school offers. I skipped two grades of math and just recently finished calculus in my junior year. I work very hard in the classroom to maintain my grades and boost my test scores. I currently have scored a 27 on the ACT but I plan on retaking it with the goal to achieve a 30.
