Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Airick Johnson. I'm 5'9 & I weigh 170lbs. I run a 4.38 in the 40 meter dash! I made a 20 on the ACT. I am now on my Senior Year. Our high school relay team made state and placed third in the 4x100m relay in 2009! I have over 10 seasons of track experience including AUU/USA organizations! I am the Captain of Del City Track. I'm a non-selfish individual. I'm always looking out for the team, willing to be placed somewhere else if needed, and I do what my coach asks of me. I'm also very hard-working and ambitious towards improving my times! I would like to attend any schools in the west, midwest, east, and south. I see the best athletes coming from those area's and I believe they have better programs, weather, and more to offer than what we have here in Oklahoma. I'm looking for a Division 1 or 2 college. I dont have a preference with big or small schools. I would qualify for and require Financial Need in order to attend any college. I haven't chosen a major just yet but I'm leaning towards Computer Engineering & Technology, Engineering in Architecture, and Business! I'm also interested in becoming a JetPilot. My athletic goals are to compete at my highest level, try out for the Olympics in the 110 hurdles when my times are great enough, try out for the World Team! My academic goals are to do well in college and earn my degree!
