For my Freshman year at IHS high school my dreams, goals and aspirations weren't crystal clear to me. But after 2012 Track season and all the medals, ribbons and feelings of success were beginning to become evident, I began to feel and have that dream of taking my talent and hard work to the next level. During the course of the 2012 Track season I began to develop this aspiration to specifically throw javelin for a college. I still have this feeling strong within me because I believe that I am very recruitable and would be a powerful asset to any track team.I have shown incredible improvement starting with a 145' 8" (Freshman year PR) to a 159' (Sophmore year PR) to my current Personal Record of 185' 2" as a Junior believe that given time and development I will be throwing 200-220 as is my overall goal as a High School Athlete. After going to a College, my long term goal is to go to a police academy and pursue a State Trooper career. As for now my short term goals are to practice javelin, triple jump, and sprinting, with the mentality that every day in practice those sporting events may change my future, and maintain honor roll at IHS the GPA required is 3.15, my goal is to maintain a solid 3.4-3.5 which is in my capability. This last quarter I shattered my goal and achieved a 3.84! I show potential at everything I do and will strive to accomplish it until whatever task set before me is complete to the best of my ability. Although I am young, being 17 years old but my dreams, goals and aspirations are something that I hold on to and will make the right decisions to achieve and have a certain level of determination that keeps me on track of what is important.
