As a college recruit it is important for me to be dedicated in everything I do and I have a great work ethic. I am a good person and will always strive to do what's best for the team. I am an overall good athlete and I am marketable in multiple events and not just one. I realize that there are likely other candidates that have the ability to do the skill sets that I am able to do. Yet I bring an additional quality that makes me the best candidate for college in that I am very passionate about what I do. I believe in doing everything that I can within the rules to make sure I have the best chance of winning possible and the word "cannot" is not in my mindset. I am consistent and I strive for improvement even if I so happen to win all of the events I participate in. Winning is not everything but if you are not improving each time you participate in an event then you will always miss what is most important "striving for excellence". I believe I am academically sound and I keep my head in my school work while I am in sports. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and I have always maintained above a 3.0 GPA.
As of 8 March 2014 I have achieved the #1 Long Jump Ranking (see mile split) for the state of South Carolina.
