Luis Perez '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello, and thank you for taking time to view my online profile. I recently just finished re-taking the SAT on November 5th, and recieved a 510 on Critical Reading, 500 on Math, and 460 on the Writing. I do however replan to take it again January 28th for an even better score. As you can tell, academics is very important to me so I'm interested in studying at a university that would offer me with an excellent education while improving my athletic skills in Track and Field.  I run in the 200 meter dash as well as in the 4 x 200 , 4 x 400, and long jump.  I advanced to the UIL 2011 Track and Field State Championships for the 200 meter dash  that took place in Austin this past Spring.  This accomplishment has placed my name in my high school's record book for being the first student to qualify to the state track meet.

I come from a family background of educators.  I am very aware of the importance of a great education, and I would like to have the opportunity of exploring as many opportunities as possible.  I'm a hardworking student and athlete, once I have my mind set on something I will go achieve it.
