Hello, my name is Blake Robertson. I am 5'10" and I weigh 135 lbs. I attend Randall High School. I am senior this year. One of the sports I participate in is cross country. I have been running cross country since my sophomore year. I have achieved the accomplishment of Second Team All Area during my sophomore year and also qualified for Regionals. During my junior year, I qualified for the state meet where I took 28th place. During my junior year Cross Country season I made the First Team All Area and made the Honorable Mention State Team. I have been on the Varsity team since I started running for Randall. During my junior year, I was also ranked first in my district for the 5,000 meters. I also participate in track. Track has been my spirit since my freshman year. I have been on the Varsity team since my freshman year. My personal best times include: 800 meters; 2:00, 1600 meters; 4:17, 3200 meters; 9:39, 5000 meters; 15:44. I was Co-Capitan my sophomore year and was the Team Capitan for my junior year and will be senior year too. Some responsibilities of being a team capitan include: helping motivate my team through workouts, helping my coach design workouts, and to always lead by example. I am a hard working, dedicated runner and student. It has been a dream of mine to win a state championship and to further my running career in college. I'm looking for a University that has strong academics and an outstanding athletic program. An education means the most to me. I haven't quite picked my major yet, but I am working on determining what I want to do when I get out of high school. I live with and am raised by my mother, who is on disability, but that hasn't stopped us. If anything it has made us a closer and stronger family.
