My goal is to find the right college or university that provides the opportunity for me to run track and complete my undergraduate degree. I have really enjoyed running track at McKinney Boyd High School and my 400 time has decreased by 3-4 seconds each year. My sophomore year I earned the Most Improved Athlete Award and last year I received the Fighting Bronco Award, the award given to the athlete for their commitment and work ethic. I anchored our 4X400 Varsity relay last year, our relay won both local Invitational meets and advanced to the State Regionals. I have ran with some great athletes at Boyd, including Aaliyah Miller and Rhayko Schwartz, who convinced me I could have great success my Senior year and run at the next level. I am committed to being the best runner possible and know that given the opportunity I will succeed.
