This is my first time running track since the 8th grade. I started running in January all the way through now. I run the 100,200,400 and long jump. My favorite race is the 100. My fastest time in the 100 is a 10.67. My aau coach introduced me to long jump in May and thought I would be great at it. My best jump is 20 feet and 2 inches and I also qualified for the Junior Olympics in long jump this summer. Please check out my video to see how my jump has changed from May 2015 to my qualifying jump for the Junior Olympics. I am determined athlete and a hard worker. Since i just started running, I know there is alot of room for improvement and I'm willing to learn and work hard to reach my goals. My goals for track are for the 100 is 10 seconds flat or lower, the 200 is 20 seconds, the 400 under 50 seconds, and long jump over 25 feet. I want to be an engineer when I graduate college and im looking for schools with great engineering programs and track programs. To me, the main reason of going to college is to get an education and to succeed. I would love run track in college and hoping it would pay for college.
