I've been working hard at improving my times so I can get a scholarship in either cross country and/or track. I've also played basketball since 7th grade but I'm not playing my senior year so I can focus strictly on my running & improve my times. I know how important it is for coaches and scouts to see my times & stats so that is my primary focus from here on out.
I enjoy running and have ran ever since elementary. I'm dedicated to the tasks at hand, I'm a hard worker and won't let the team down. I'm apart of the USATF organization and have been for the past 2 years. I qualified for Nationals in the 3000 meter run this year. The other events I participate in is: cross country, 1500 meter run and the 4x800 meter relay.
My aspiration is to get an excellent education, earn my degree and work as an engineer. I strive to make good grades in school and take a few AP classes. I'm also involved with my church and have done community service with the youth group for many years. My younger brother looks up to me and has inspirations to be a runner too. So I have been working with him over the past year.
