Personal Statement

I started to run track when I was in the 6th grade. Ever since then I have loved the sport. Track has taught me that in order to achieve success you must be consistent and dedicated. "The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, but rather in a lack of will." - Vince Lombardi. This is a quote I apply to every aspect of my life including sports.

I am a determined and hardworking student. I hold very strong Christian beliefs. I have a great work ethic and I manage my time very well with school and sports. I am at tenacious athlete that is willing to do what it takes to be a decathlete on the collegiate level.
