Personal Statement
I have two major dreams as of right now in my young life.
- To own and manage my own restaurant
- To win Olympic gold medals
To be quite blunt, I love food. I enjoy it and I appreciate the cultures with which the food originates from. This passion for food and my desire to travel the world has cumulated in the dream of wanting to own a restaurant and have it become successful in one way or another.
My second dream, it came to me during my first track season in freshman year. I've always loved to run and occasionally watched the Olympics on tv, and one man stood out to me: Usain Bolt. I saw how fast he was and how he broke world records and I felt that one day I could make it there. Fast forward 3 years later and we find out that the 2016 Olympics may be his last Olympic appearance. I want to race Usain Bolt. My dream is to race him in the 2016 Olympics and not only get a gold medal, but also to break his world record.
