Personal Statement
When I get to the collegiate level, I want to leave my mark on wherever I go the same way I did in high school. I'm not the biggest, strongest, or the fastest, but I am one the hardest working people you will ever meet. I am known through out my school, among my teachers and peers for my work ethic and integrity. Coming from a Christian background and being the oldest of 3 brothers, most of my life revolves around responsibility, honesty, and integrity. I have learned what it means to be teachable during my time of playing football. Even though I was a senior and one of the best athletes on the team, I was still at every practice, workout, and meeting. I was highlighted for this through an award for being the heart and part of the driving force of the team. In the classroom, I am known for being on time and an active participant In discussions and lectures. I am known for my high standards that I hold myself to. When I walk on to my college campus in August, I don't want to be known for just my work ethic on the track, but my work ethic in general from my professors, to my peers, to my coaches. And when I leave that college on graduation day, I want to walk the stage knowing that I impacted that school in everything that I did.
