100 M Dash Personal Statement
I am willing to push myself as hard as needed in order to achieve my personal best not only on the track, but also in the classroom. By growing up in a small town in northern New England, there was only one head coach for my track team, and he specialized in long distance events. Even though I have performed very well in high school so far, I do believe that with more specialized coaching I would be able to reach my full potential and act as a valuable asset to any team. Also, I have challenged myself to take the hardest courses available to me including numerous AP classes, and I have managed to achieve high honors throughout my high school career. In taking all this into account, I am eager to push myself hard and strive to be the best I can achieve.
