Ryan Topdjian '15 Recruiting Profile

My dreams as a collegiate athlete couldn't be more sky high. Ever sense i have found the passion for throwing i have worked countless days on the field and in the classroom to prepare myself for these goals. I've always aspired to become one of the best throwers in collegiate history, although my height doesn't permit me to be, you always have to dream big.

I believe any college that adds me to their team will see the benefits of having me right away. If you walk around my school and ask anyone who the most driven and motivational team mate at our school is; it's me hands down. All i ever talk about is track, all i ever think about is track. I'm always excited to be at practice, and not only coach myself on becoming a better athlete but others as well. I see myself as a second coach for our track team. Not because i have studied countless hours of film, or have these accomplishments. But because i like to see others strives for success, and i can bring that to any team that accepts me.

From an academic stand point i am nothing special with a cumulative GPA of 2.7. Past grades are irreversible, but i am currently striving to become better in the classroom. I'm challenging myself with three advanced placement classes, and consistently go to our career center for help studying on concepts i don't grasp. What separates me from other athletes is my passion and drive for the sport i love. Personally i have achieved a three year letter award so far in my high school career, and also awarded team captain and MVP for our team. this leads me to say i can bring unstoppable effort to become a better athlete and team member. I don't just want to see myself achieve my goals, but my team mates as well. I'm always focused in practice, always willing to take constructive criticism in an attempt to become a better me. You can search everywhere but you won't find a more driven thrower than I.
