I am a three year lettered senior that dreams of going to college for track, specifically for throwing. Over the the past three years that I have thrown, I have lifted 4-5 days a week always trying to improve on my technique, strength and distance. I throw the shot put and the discus. I excel in the class room as well as the field. I am consistently trying to make myself the best I can be in all aspects of life. Whether that is academics or sports I plan to excel through college. Two years ago, I qualified for the State Track meet for discus. Last year I qualified for shot put and won the 2A state title. I am looking forward to competing at the State Track Tournament again and bringing home a win for my team.
Being apart of a throwing team that has the same level of competition I possess is my desire for college. I want to be a national champion and dream of going to the Olympics. I am not someone that sits back to see what happens. Helping others is as important as helping myself. My favorite quote is, "Don't be surprised by the little results you get, by the little work you put in."
