Personal Statement

Rogers High School: Thummel-Gravitt was a three year letterwinner for the Rams. He placed in the 400 meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay three times, the 4x100 meter relay twice and also ran the 200 meter at a state championship. He was named SPSL Track Athlete o the Year in 2011, and earned the school's Track Athlete of the Year award in 2010 and 2011. He also scored the most team points in 2010. His career bests are 48.77 in the 400 meter and 22.02 in the 200 meter. He also played football and wrestled, going to the state playoffs twice in football and winning the Guts and Glory Award in wrestling.
Club Experience: Austin Thummel-Gravitt ran for Seatown Express in 2010 and 2011. He was a 2011 USATF Junior Olympic National Champion in the 4x400 meter relay.
Personal: Full name is Austin Michael Thummel-Gravitt. His parents are Genni and Mike Thummel-Gravitt, and he has an older sister named Aly and a younger sister named Lexi. Thummel-Gravitt plans on majoring in exercise science with a minor in business, and he would like to pursue a career in athletic training. He enjoys traveling and working hard.
