I take my running career seriously and want to compete in college.
When I was in grade school, I knew I was naturally talented at running. In middle school, our training wasn't very intense, but I was able to break the 8th grade mile time by 7 tenths of a second that stood for 20 years. My time was 4:45:08. Then in High School, I broke the Freshman 800 record with a time of 1:58:02.
I am very motivated and competitive and willing to work hard to achieve my running goals. I gave up playing varsity basketball to train in the off season so that I am ready for the upcoming track season.
My running goal this track season is to run a 4:15 mile and 1:54 800 Meters. So far, I have run a 4:30 mile at an indoor track meet at the University of Washington.
I hope to someday compete in the Olympics.
