My name is Tyler Bourn and I am a senior at Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane Washington. I love to compete and am committed to being the best student, person, and athlete possible. I am self driven and disciplined in the classroom and on the track. My parents and school community have provided a stable upbringing and have demonstrated the principles that will guide me to a successful future. I take the responsibility of being a student athlete seriously, as a representative of my school and family. As I consider myself to be of high character and a driven competitor, I act as a positive role model to the younger and inexperienced track athletes. On the track, my continued growth and potential assist me in standing out from other recruits. Also, I believe my academic success helps me stand out from other recruits. I always push to challenge myself, and in the classroom this translates to succeeding in AP and Honors classes. While taking challenging classes at an elite and highly regarded preparatory high school, I have maintained a 3.90 GPA and have achieved my academic objectives each year. My collegiate goals are to compete at the highest level possible while pursuing a college degree.
