Personal Statement
I have always been the fastest person at my school since I can remember. I starting running USA T&F back in the 6th grade. At first, I didn't think I would be able to compete with those kids. I ended up leading my region in the 100m and 200m that year. That same summer, I went on to become the 2nd fastest person in that age group in both events. The following summer I finish 6th overall in the 100m and the very next summer, I won both the 100m and 200m, and finish 6th in the 400m that year. I've had limited success in high school, mostly due to leg injuries. In my upcoming junior year I plan to change that and make it to state. I've pushed myself to become better and better each year. If I get the opportunity to run at the next level, that work ethic and dedication won't stop. I will also hope to be a great addition to any team.
