Personal Statement
My goal is to succeed as an athlete, student, and most importantly a person. I make sure I give 110% at everything I do. I set very high goals for myself and I do not let anything get in the way of me accomplishing them. Every season I set my own personal distance goals that I try to break. Those goals are all of my dad's personal records he threw every year in high school. My dad was an amazing thrower and I want to be that much more. I have him by my side in and outside the season to get me better as a thrower and as a person. In the off seasons we find ways to throw so I can get familiar with the shot put and to get familiar with the technique before the season even starts. I know that hard work pays off and that is why I'm always motivated. I want to say one day I did it. My dream is to one day be a college athlete. Sports are my life and I do not know what I would do without them. I make sure I do everything I can possibly do to fulfill that dream. When I finish high school I'm going to know I gave it my all and that I did everything that I could possibly do.
