Personal Statement

Coach:
I am one of the top Junior Elite Triathletes in the country but my passion is running.  It started in the 5th grade when I set our school record in the mile.  Then, as an 8th grader, I set the school district record in the mile.  I am competitive and want to win.  I enjoy all aspects of training including maintaining a gluten free diet to keep inflammation down.  I look forward to running in college simply because I love it and have not come close to reaching my full potential.  I have great Midwest work ethic and when I set a goal for myself, I pour every bit of my soul into it until it is achieved.  I would fit in best at any college whose running program also has big goals and aspirations!
