Personal Statement
Hello,
My name is Daniel Bendel. Track has always been a dream of mine. I have loved running since I was a child. I have always loved to push myself to go as fast as I can possibly go. For me, running college track would be a dream come true. I am willing to do my best and never give up in order to achieve my goals. I think I would be great on a college track team because I don't just focus on myself. I help others to push themselves to do their best and never give up. In regard to my athletics, I am someone who continues to improve. Every season I get new personal best times and most of the time I improve every track meet. I never give up in practice so that during the day of the meet I am prepared to push myself past a new barrier. My 2016 Season came to a great end recently. I ended up breaking three schools records, (110 Hurdles - 15.31, 200M - 22.61, and 4x100 - 43.40). I enjoyed every meet and went to state in the 4x100. Sadly, I false started in the 110 hurdles at the Regional meet. That was a very bad moment for me, however, I picked myself up and kept running in the relays.
