My collegiate goal in to run in competition at the highest level possible for my abilities.
Outside of my school running programs I have competed in the 8K Run Turkey Trot races in Manitowoc, WI with a PR finish of 28:56.35. I have also competed in the Bellin 10K Run in Green Bay, WI with a finish of 39:26.00 among approximately 20,000 competitors.
I am a good candidate for the running program team because I have a hard working attitude. I am willing to do whatever it takes to better myself so that I can positively impact the team. I feel that I am a good teammate, because I enjoy encouraging my fellow runners from the slowest to the fastest teammate. During the off seasons I have tried to be a positive leader by helping to organize team runs around our community and school. I have been on the varsity cross country and track teams for three years and planning for a fourth year in those sports, and have been a strong leader in both of those running sports. I was voted the Most Valuable Distance runner for the Lincoln High School Track 2016 season, and was awarded the Elmer Black Award winner for the Lincoln High School Track 2016 season which goes to the most dedicated athlete to their sport. In Cross Country I have two 2nd team all-conference and one 1st team all-conference.
