Personal Statement

I would love to attend a Division I or Division II college and throw shot and discus.  I have been throwing shot and discus since 8th grade at which time my throwing team set a county record.  I have given up playing baseball to devote my time to throwing.  This paid off for me because I placed second in the state in discus and finished in the top ten regular season in shot put.   In the off season, I play basketball but I also continue to work out and practice throwing.   I feel that I am dedicated to the sport and have what it takes to compete at the college level.   I plan on getting my bachelor's degree,  but I am not completely sure of what field of study at this time.
