Nathan Schrade '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm really looking forward to playing college volleyball in fall 2019.  In a few weeks, my 2018 high school season begins and I'm determined to lead our team back to the Arizona state tournament.  Although I feel I play best as an Opposite hitter, my team needs me as a Middle.  Last year as a middle I led our team in hitting percentage while also being among the leaders in blocks and kills.  And my play is consistent, with few unforced errors.  Against closely matched opponents, my consistent playing made a difference.  But even more importantly I influenced my teammates through my on-court intensity.  I have a passion to continue playing volleyball at the highest level and I hope to find a college where I can meet both my educational goals and volleyball goals.  I've improved upon mediocre grades my freshmen and sophomore year, having earned all A's with only one B last semester.  I will keep this up through graduation.  I'm a straightforward and teachable guy who is easy to get along with.  I feel that my trajectory in both athletics and academics now is the highest it's ever been.  Selecting me to play on your team will provide you with a consistent and flexible player who demands excellence of himself and inspires greatness in others.  Let's win together!
