Personal Statement

From the time I played a leading role on my junior high volleyball team at tiny St. Peter School in Skokie, IL that went undefeated and won the conference title against much bigger schools, I have been hooked on volleyball.  From then on, I have sought out any and every opportunity to play, and my passion for the game has only increased.  By playing several positions - setter, middle, and outside hitter - to best fit the needs of my club teams - D1 Northside (Chicago) and 380 Devil Dogs (Iowa), I have become an extremely skilled, knowledgeable and versatile player.

As I look ahead toward college, I strive to combine my passions for learning and for playing volleyball to find the best opportunity to excel both in the classroom and on the court.  My plan is to pursue a degree in the field of Law that will result in attending a competitive law school.  I also believe I have the skills, attitude and dedication necessary to play volleyball at the collegiate level.  I am confident that my strong work ethic and good moral character will serve me well in my future endeavors.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
