I am grateful to even have the opportunity to play sports at a competitive level. Not many people get the opportunity to play sports in their life do to many reasons. That is why I am especially blessed to have the chance to take my skills, work ethic, and determination to the next level and hopefully play collegiate volleyball. As a kid I always dreamed of playing a sport in college but I didn't know what sport was right for me until the game of volleyball entered my life. I played baseball my entire life and decided to tryout for volleyball my freshman year of high school. I have fell in love with the sport ever since. One thing that I know separates me from all the other athletes trying to pursue playing sports at the next level is my work ethic. I center myself around getting faster and stronger by going to the gym everyday when everyone else is sitting home doing nothing. My parents always taught me to work for what I want. There is no off season for me. When the volleyball season is over for school I play beach volleyball and play in adult volleyball leagues. I stay involved in the community and help whoever needs me, whether it's my senior citizen neighbor or its teaching kids how to play certain sports. I would be truly honored to receive a chance to play the sport I love in college.
