Volleyball has always been in my life. I am fortunate to have parents who played competitive volleyball while I was growing up so I had the opportunity to get exposure. In Charlotte NC, boys volleyball does not exist in the schools or at the club level so I started playing with girls. After spreading the word, by 6th grade we were able to get enough boys to form a club team. We got sponsored by a girls club and our team has been together ever since. My dad is my coach and has been an amazing influence on me. I look up to him and know that if I continue to work hard I might be as good has he is one day. Being a part of team has taught me that one person cannot do it all. It takes all of us to be present and put 100% of what we have to be successful. I am looking for a school where I can get an excellent education while playing the sport that I truely love. On the court I am a leader and bring energy to the team. Keeping my teammates focused and encouraged is important. I have red hair and with that come some fire. I won't deny that I am passionate and want to win. I know I still have a lot of growing on the court to do. I am young and time is on my side. I am looking forward to playing at the collegiate level and continuing to grow as a player, teammate and student.
