Liam McCullough '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Liam McCullough and I am currently a junior at Clarkstown South High School in West Nyack, New York. I have been playing volleyball for 3 years now and been on varsity for 2 of those years. I was our starting libero and team captain as a junior. I also led our team with 252 digs in 33 sets played my junior year. As a libero, the strongest part of my game is my defense. I have quick movements and a strong passing platform to go along with a strong volleyball I.Q. Heading into my senior year, I plan on breaking our school's all-time dig record and single season dig record. Our school's varsity boy's volleyball team is extremely competitive as we compete every season for the section one league championship and to move on to win the state.

Whether it is on the court or in the classroom I am extremely competitive and rarely allow anyone to beat me. Whether it is competing in state competitions for New York DECA or a pick up basketball game, I always give it my all and I always provide positive leadership. My classmates, teammates, and friends constantly look at me for advice or motivation. This is a reason why I was voted to be the captain of our school's varsity volleyball team as a junior and school store employee of the month. In my senior year I plan on being my DECA chapter vice president and head manager of our school store. I think my hard working personality would fit it at any competitive school. I would love to play the sport of volleyball in college and pursue a major of Business/Finance.
