My name is Austin Gerwig, I am 6’6” entering my Sophomore year at The Ohio State University. My ultimate goal is to play top level volleyball at an outstanding university. In order to play at the highest level, I have dedicated myself to develop my game by participating in the highest level of volleyball. I participate in strength training and I am lifting 4 days per week with a strength coach. I pride myself in being a student athlete by taking a challenging course load and carrying over a 3.9 GPA.
I am looking to continue my education as I pursue a degree in Biology with the intention of attending Medical School immediately after I complete my undergraduate degree. More specifically, I would like an institution with an outstanding reputation both in athletics and academics where I can prepare for a career in medicine. Athletically, I would like to join a team where I can make an impact. I am a player that will do anything to help the team and give everything I have, on an off the court, always.
