Ian Malis '15 Recruiting Profile

Playing a college sport has been a dream ever since I was young. It would be such an accomplishment to be able to play volleyball in college. I hope to one day use the skills I learned from playing with many friends and coaches to help me in college. 

I have a very good volleyball IQ, i tend to watch a lot of volleyball just to help me improve on things. Watching online and live play help me to pick out things i need to be better. I have a jump float serve that is pretty fast paced. I also play all 6 rotations for my high school team because i pass fairly well. I swing in the middle position and i like the middle the most because you never get time off. 

I'm different from other recruits because i work extremely well with people and I get along with everyone I meet. I'm also willing to work harder than most if not all the recruits to succeed in my dream in playing college volleyball.
