My name is Cooper Herndon and I am in my senior year at Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas. I am a strong student and take academics very seriously. I play both indoor and beach volleyball. I believe playing indoor and beach VB enhances both my passing and receiving skills, as well as improving my court awareness. I am currently playing club VB with Excel Volleyball Club as a libero, playing on the Jesuit High School volleyball team as an outside hitter/DS, and am continuing with my beach training.
I have had the privilege to train with USAV High Performance for both indoor and beach camps and tournaments. Most recently, I competed again as a libero, in the 2019 USAV HP Championship in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with the North Texas Regional HP team. I also participated in 2019 USAV HP A2 Indoor Camp in Rock Hill, SC where my youth team finished 1st. I have also been competing in Men’s AVP beach tournaments in Texas.
My goals for college are to get a quality education while still having the opportunity to play competitive volleyball with a strong program. I am very coachable, eager to learn and I aim to improve my game each time I step onto the court.
