Jorge Rivera '17 Recruiting Profile

Ten years of experience playing volleyball I've gone through different challenges and obstacles, where I've learned how to step out of my comfort zone, be a leader and sacrifice for a team.  Moving from Puerto Rico to the U.S. at 12 has been an exciting journey where I've had to adapt to new things, teams, and even coaches.  As a student-athlete, I've also learned the value of time, commitment, and responsibility. I'm looking for a program where I'd be an effective fit, that will help me strive for better every day athletically and academically.  Over the years I have not only developed my talent but a lot of character and discipline when playing on the court.  I am very competitive and agile and my goal is to make an impact on your team and your program!
