Cole Altaffer '15 Recruiting Profile

My main collegiate goal is to take my water polo game to the next level all while developing myself as a leader and a competitor so that I may achieve greatness in my sport and my future career. Since the 5th grade I have been a dominant athlete playing at a proven varsity level. I used to practice with the local high school varsity team and show them how to set hole. Once I became of high school age I broke the record for goals scored in a season each year. Also my sophomore year I really took charge of my team as a whole by organizing team meetings and bonding events and as a result we brought home the first men's valley championship my school had ever seen.

Academically I've always kept my studies and my sports at a strict balance. I have done this through time management and constant awareness of were I stand in my grades. It is very important for me to have a great academic career because neither of my parents have degrees. 

My stats: 100y freestyle 50.66, I throw a waterpolo ball 49mph.
