Personal Statement

This year I am a senior at Martin Luther King High School. I am looking forward to my last season in high school after just finishing an amazing club season. Water Polo is an integral part of my life and I am grateful for the physical challenges, the team camaraderie and personal growth the sport has given to me. My main goal for college is to receive a quality education. I am interested in studying physics, materials science, or construction engineering. I would love to play water polo as a varsity sport and know that the commitment to a team will enhance my college years. I have had many great experiences with my water polo and swimming and would like to continue in the sports. I know that I would bring a high level of commitment, leadership and ability to the team and school and want the chance to play.
