Personal Statement
Competing and getting fourth in our state with my high school team has been the highlight of my athletic career. Following that year, we got 4th in state again which makes it almost as good as the year before. My former swim coach got me interested in water polo in 7th grade. So I took water polo camps until I decided to be competitive my freshman year. This was one of the best decisions I'd ever made.
I plan on playing college water polo as well as earning a degree in business administration. I believe that I am a good candidate for the team because I can swim down to the ball fast as well as getting the ball where it needs to be. I am a lefty who has been trained in the R Flat mostly as well as R Wing. Passing is my strong suit as I search for the available options and can tell if my teammates can get the ball and play it. I am a team player and enjoy working with my teammates. If there is ever a tough spot I am in, academically or athletically, I always try to find a way through it.
