Parker Smith '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Parker Smith and I am a goalie at Central York High School. I have 3 years of playing on my high school team and 1 year of playing for our school's club team. I am a great leader that has helped our team through struggles and made sure everyone had a big role to play on our team. Last year (2020) was a tough year but I helped contribute to the team to help us make it to state play-in tournament.  This off-season I was able to make the best of it as I attended one of the ODP Clinics from USA Water Polo; then going to W&J Water Polo camp and get even more training for myself. I have set goals high for myself and had myself in a starting position 2 years in a row with not as much experience as others. I am a good decision maker and make those decisions quickly so I can give my teammates as much time as possible to score. I believe I could be good for any team that would have interest in me as I have played my best season my senior year this year and put our team in position to win some games. I am very athletic and I am able to come out of the goal if needed to get a steal or two.  Water Polo is one of the sports I care mostly about, with thinking about how I can be used to help the team in the best of my abilities.
