Roman Christenot '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm excited for the opportunity to play water polo in college and I'm looking forward to finding a good fit for my level of skill, attitude, and abilities.  I bring leadership qualities and a great attitude to my current team.  I also want to find an academic program that will enhance my learning, interests, and personal growth toward an undergraduate degree.  I am coachable, teachable, and have goals that include success and achievement.  Plus I am fun to be around and interesting to talk with.

I've been playing competitive water polo for seven years and have been a competitive swimmer since my freshman year.  I have been fortunate to participate in Junior Olympics (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021) and the Olympic Development Program (2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021).  I was selected to attend the NTSC program this year.  I have been the starting high school goalie since my sophomore year and have been an integral leader on my team.  I was selected First Team All State and First Team All American in 2021.
