I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and played high school basketball at Jacobs High School in Algonquin, Illinois. Throughout my high school career, I received college attention from schools all over the country.
I ultimately decided to accept a full-ride scholarship to the University of California-Berkeley and compete in the PAC 10 (now PAC 12) conference. I earned my bachelor’s degree in political science in 2008 and then had an opportunity to play professionally overseas. I made stops in New Zealand and Germany before retiring in 2014.
I joined NCSA soon after my retirement from playing professionally. In my role here at NCSA, I love that I get to give back to the next generation of student-athletes and help them accomplish their academic and athletic goals.
My favorite part about working with our families is when I get the news that they have made their college commitment and I get to ring the commitment bell for them.
