George Bauer, Recruiting Specialist
I was a three-sport athlete in high school playing football, basketball and baseball while serving as captain for both football and basketball. I earned a full football scholarship to Tulane University in New Orleans. My biggest memory I had during my playing days at Tulane was finally beating LSU 14-0 in 1973, the first time we had beaten them in 25 years. Sharing that victory with my teammates, coaches, parents and Tulane boosters made everything worthwhile and provided a memory I will cherish forever.
I served as an athletic director and also was a head football, basketball and baseball coach in high schools in New Orleans and in the suburbs outside of Chicago for over 15 years.
I am one of the founding fathers of NCSA and have been helping student-athletes and families navigate the recruiting process for over 16 years. I have also earned the honor of making the President's Club. From the day where we had just five employees to today where we have over 650 former college athletes, coaches and teachers helping literally thousands of deserving young student-athletes in their quest to attend the right college and get their degree while continuing their athletic careers.
What I have enjoyed most about being a part of NCSA is helping every family we speak with navigate their recruiting process in finding the right college academically, athletically, socially and financially in earning scholarships and grants to help pay for the rising cost of a college education.
The honor to participate in college athletics and make lifelong friendships and the ability to put your athletic experience on your professional resume can serve any student well in their future endeavors both personally and professionally.
