Our People

NCSA's staff of former college athletes, coaches and scouts will help you compete for scholarships. We know who you are: an athlete on the verge of making the next step, confident in your ability to raise your game to the next level, just hoping to be noticed, to be given the opportunity to play your game. We've been there.

Most of our nearly 500-strong staff competed at the college level. Now, working with NCSA allows us to help others earn the same opportunity. For people who know the value of college athletics—who continue to benefit from its lessons and values well beyond the span of a college athletic career—it's just about the most rewarding job you can find. We at NCSA share that viewpoint—and a common passion for what we do. In fact, many of us think of it less as a job and more as a lifestyle. But we don’t just bring a real love for college sports; our people bring decades upon decades of experience in college athletics and beyond.

Ayrealle Beavers

National Scout
Loyola University Chicago
Why NCSA? My senior year I witnessed many friends and teammates struggle with the recruiting process and not receive any college offers for various reasons. I was blessed to be going to a Division I school and to play the sport I love. But it bothered me to see my others dreams of playing in college get away from them.

Julian Beckwith

Recruiting Coach
Miami University
I am originally from Columbus, Ohio where I grew up and graduated from high school in 2006 with 4 Varsity Letters in Basketball. I was fortunate enough to start all 4 years and garnered interest from DII and DIII schools.

Scott Bedtke

Junior Staff Accountant
Illinois Wesleyan University
I wanted to join the NCSA Team in part because sports have played such a powerful and important role in shaping who I've become.

Karissa Biever

Financial Aid Manager
Carthage College
I played volleyball for 6 years at the club level and 4 years for my high school. I didn’t think there was anywhere for me to play in college; I was overwhelmed with looking at colleges in general, I didn’t know where to begin.

Codi Boek

Head Scout
Boston College
I have always been very passionate about recruiting.

Jim Bokern

Saint Louis University
I am proud to partner with NCSA Athletic Recruiting, the world’s first athleadership network, with a goal of building leaders through sports. The NCSA educates, assists, and connects committed student-athletes, college coaches, and sports-minded companies.

Eddie Boncela

Benedictine University
Although an outstanding high school athlete, having received all-state recognition, an injury senior year derailed my football dreams and left me disappointed with my prospects. While attending a recruiting conference, I met the Benedictine coaching staff and reignited my passion for football. At Benedictine I was a four-year starter on the offensive line and was captain of the team my senior year.

Michael Bradberry

Quality Assurance Engineer
Southern Illinois / MacCormac College
In high school I was a two sport athlete, participating in varsity football as well as track and field, where I was ranked #3 in the city of Chicago in the triple-jump. A few years after high school i returned to help coach football, which I find to really be my passion.

Justin Brantley

Head Scout
University of Illinois
I came to NCSA to help student athletes achieve their dreams and experience the joy of competing in their sport at the next level. I've experienced first hand the recruiting process as an athlete and have guided several athletes through the process as a coach.

Paul Brenegan

Head Scout
University of South Dakota / Lora's College
I come to the NCSA with a wealth of knowledge on the recruiting process, both as a player and as a coach. I began playing collegiate basketball at the University of South Dakota where I was a member of the 1993 NCAA DII Eight team.

Jim Broe

Head of Video Productions
Loyola University Chicago
When I first walked in the door to interview for my internship at NCSA, I knew this was a place I wanted to work. Never having the chance to play collegiate varsity sports, and knowing what that experience offered to my older sisters, I wanted to help student-athletes reach a level I was never able to achieve.

For as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about two things: sports and helping others. The opportunity that I've received at NCSA, to help student athletes achieve their dreams of playing sports in college, inspires me.

Ellen Brown

Head Soccer Recruiting Coach
University of Kentucky and Grove City College
I began coaching in high school because I had trouble finding good coaches for myself. I now help high school athletes who want to play in college for the same reason. I only had my father to help with my college search, and while he was a great guy, we didn't know the first thing about college recruiting.

Jon Bruehl

Senior National Scout
Lawrence University
I was a two sport athlete, football and track and field, at Lawrence University. I found my passion for football at a young age playing catch in the backyard. Unfortunately, my time came to hang up the cleats once I graduated from college.

Eric Brunner

Senior National Scout
Augustana College
Although I was fortunate enough to play Division III college football for a time being, I went through the whole recruiting phase blind and unsure of how anything worked. I tried to handle the entire recruiting process by myself, and found it difficult to handle all that was thrown at me.

Paul Brunsdon

Head Scout
Minot State University, Bemidji State University
Coming from Canada, I was completely unaware of the opportunities for playing college sports. Only once I moved to the US to finish my undergraduate work, and I began coaching college basketball as a student assistant, did I begin to understand the scope of opportunities for playing sports after high school.

Carmen Bucci

Head Scout
Northwestern University
Having been fortunate enough to play baseball from Little League to the Professional level, athletics have provided many opportunities in my life. Although, none greater than a degree from one of the top Universities in the nation.

While working at Monmouth University, I discovered NCSA because our coaching staff worked hand in hand with the NCSA team. At that point, I saw the difference that NCSA is able to make and decided I wanted to have that type of impact as well.
